COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
Our Mission
H & S’ community engagement mission is to leverage our resources and make measurable contributions to help our community and employees in their daily lives.
Reaching the Hardest to Reach
H & S Management Holding Company and all of its family of companies actively seek the potential employees who may be income or socially challenged, including ex-offenders. We meet with our employees, pastors, civic, business, and political leaders to identify the community’s needs.
We conduct job fairs and job training to include drug education, dress for success, work place safety, promptness, soft skills, and team work. Ongoing, we provide life and financial literacy training, and coaching, along with assistance with transportation and other necessities.
H & S Commercial and Industrial Supplies and Services hires the hardest to reach people in our community to give second chances. H & S received an award from former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch and U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama Kenyen Brown for our dedication to create reentry pathways to good citizenship for formerly incarcerated persons.
